May 3, 2023 · Icom IC 7300 vs Yaesu FT 710 Noise Reduction Test. I think I had both radios set the same. After I looked at the video, The Icom IC 7300 Did have the IP+ ... EQ 1 - 400Hz, -5, +4. EQ2 - 1200Hz, +5, 0. EQ3 - 2300Hz, +6, 0. 9. The stock mic position is critical. You should find the right spot if you listen, but mine is about 2" from my mouth and centered.
